The Pre-Test Assessment: The purpose of the Pre-Test Assessment is to ensure that you are ready to be tested on the five domains of knowledge (electrical basics; tools; construction methods and materials; wiring and installation practices; and standards, codes, and safety practices) that make up the ESPA Certified
-EST. Once the Pre-Test is started, you will have up to twenty-four (24) hours to complete and submit your assessment exam. If you fail due to an incomplete exam, another exam will need to be purchased.
ESPA strongly encourages you to take this Pre-Test Assessment.
Upon completion of the Pre-Test Assessment, you will receive a domain-specific scoring report detailing your knowledge of the specific areas the ESPA exam covers. The training prescription contained in the score report should help you decide what you need to do prior to taking the exam. If you have questions about this Pre-Test Assessment, please email

Full review course: Offered via instructor-led training and a self-paced online program.
The self-paced online review program allows more study time for those that are new to the EST field and feel they need more time to learn the material at their own pace.
The course will have unlimited access for 30 days from purchase.

The instructor-led training course is presented at tradeshows and other partner venues and is geared to those already in the industry who have never been certified and feel they need a full review course to help them pass the exam.
